It is already November and Thanksgiving is throughout the nook. I have to share a couple of of my favorite, healthful and fascinating Thanksgiving side dishes with all people. This week I have to share my favorite inexperienced bean side dish since inexperienced bean is a fairly frequent side dish all through Thanksgiving.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
1 pound of inexperienced beans (ends trimmed)
1 cup halved cherry or grape tomatoes
1 small onion chopped
2 garlic minced
seasoning: salt, pepper, dried basil, purple crushed pepper flakes
water and 1/2 stock cube or stock
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Turn the vary to medium extreme heat, pour throughout the olive oil and onion/garlic, and let it prepare dinner dinner until the onion/garlic is mushy/brown.
2. Add throughout the inexperienced beans, stir, add throughout the seasoning aside from basil, stir.
three. Add throughout the tomatoes and basil, and stir very properly.
three. Add throughout the water and stock cube or just stock (merely ample to half cowl the inexperienced bean mixture).
4. Let it simmer until the liquid is all boiled off. (about 10 min)
5. Season but yet another time with salt, pepper, basil, and purple pepper flakes.
6. Turn off the vary and let it cool on the vary.
